Jason Landry (b. 1972) is a photographer, photography collector and as of May, 14, 2010 will become the new owner of the Panopticon Gallery in Boston, Massachusetts. His photographs have been exhibited locally and nationally and are featured in the collection of the Addison Gallery of American Art and in many private collections.
Jason Landry was born in Massachusetts and grew up in Greenland, NH. He received a B.F.A. in Photography from the Massachusetts College of Art & Design and a M.F.A. in Visual Arts from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University.
In 2008, Mr. Landry joined the Board of Directors at The Photographic Resource Center at Boston University. Soon thereafter, he transitioned into their interim Education Manager then their Project Manager before settling in as the Programs and Operations Manager for the organization.
In May 2010, he will be included in an exhibition, Paris/Prague: Tales from Two Cities with Paul Ickovic at the Panopticon Gallery, and in November, 2010 a solo exhibition of his series The Collectors will be on display at The Griffin Museum of Photography.
